South Coast Centre of Excellence, curate days for people within the local tourism industry to try out other emerging or existing tourism experiences with the hope of strengthening the local tourism industry. 

This film for Navigate Expeditions was produced as part of the Indigenous Connections program. It showcases their new cultural kayaking tour, which is a collaboratoin with Twofold Aboriginal Corporation and Led by Nathan Lygon.

I really enjoy this kind of job because I get to be fully immersed in the tour, capturing all the content as I experience it firsthand. Since this particular tour was going to be extra complicated—with kayaking, drone work, and moving production equipment along with the group—I brought on the fantastic Dean Paine as my second.

I feel it’s a great example of what is achievable within such a tight timeframe, looking for those narrative points and in very difficult shooting conditions.
